Design
BACK TO THE DRAWING BOARD
Wedge clamp expands simultaneously in both directions with a single turn on the tightening screw to push the workpiece against fixture stops.
Wedge clamp typically fits between workpiece and has a small footprint on a fixture plate to allow maximum machinable space left for workpiece. Low profile clamp also has less tooling interference, saving in tool changes and extending cycle efficiency. It's a very reliable and versatile workholding solution on a fixture plate in vertical or on a tombstone on horizontal machining environment.
Dovetail Design
Center wedge block engages the jaw with downward dovetail design to create a push-down force which prevent any jaw lifts when tightening down, while dovetail engagement minimized any sliding movement in horizontal plane.
Micro Lapped
Dovetail between the center wedge block and the jaw are micro lapped on a CNC grinder to ensure tight tolerance. Each set's individual component can be swapped out with a new component while minimized plays between components and still holding the clamping rigidity.
Flat jaws are hardened to 52-56 HRc
5 Year limited warranty on the center wedge block and jaws
